Here’s the response from Austan Goolsbee, chief economist on the White House Recovery Advisory Board, at approx. the 5:10 mark. He hits the WH talking point about “better wages” (the same point Mr. McMahon showed to be irrelevant in this situation in his description of the Davis-Bacon Act), then not-so-subtly swivels to financial reform:
